Ingredients
  1. 5 stems of broccoli hearts, peeled and cubed
  2. 1 lg or 2 small carrots, peeled and cubed
  3. 1/8 c. onion, cubed
  4. 1/2 to 1 cup of leafy greens
  5. 1 avocado
  6. 1 lime, squeezed
  7. 1-2 tsp. salt
  8. 1/4 tsp. pepper
  9. 1/4 tsp. crushed, red pepper
  10. 3 T. olive oil
  11. cooked bacon
Instructions
  1. Chop first three vegetables in your food processor. Do as coarse or as fine as you like it.
  2. Chop by hand, your leafy greens to desired consistency.
  3. Blend the remaining ingredients in bullet blender or any blender.
  4. Mix together.
  5. Top with pieces of bacon.
Notes
  1. When peeling broccoli hearts, be sure to remove all of the fibrous, outer layer, leaving only the tender, inner part. Delicious!
  2. Next time I will try adding a bit of raw garlic to the dressing.
